Ireland's shame and a menace to sobriety, The Dregs are a band of Scandinavian-Irish posers who bring their own merry flavor of folk music to the pubs and taverns of Minnesota. (Ok, some of them are a little Irish.) With staggering behavior, these six sorry sots perform intoxicating ballads, lush anthems, and sea shanties that'll have you three sheets to the wind! So pour yourself a cold one, and get ready for a stomping, clapping, spitting, swearing, mug-swinging, good time!

- The smallest and least desirable portion of residual liquid at the bottom of a drinking vessel.
- Pathetic band of Irish wannabes who sing, jest, and beg for your table scraps. (See photo, right).
Meet the new Dreg
The Dregs are pleased to announce that we have asked Molly Dimba to join our band and she has accepted.
Molly was one of many terrific performers who tried out for us in February and while we wish we could have taken all of them, we had to make a call and we are very excited about the possibilities Molly brings to the band.
Dregs are third best musical act in the country
The Dregs are pleased to have been chosen as the third best musical act by voters for the Renaissance Festival Awards given out by the good folks at the Renaissance Festival Podcast. We want to thank all of our fans who went out and voted for us.

A whole lot of Dregs going on!
Hey Dregs fans! There isn't much Dreggy stuff going on in February but March and April are shaping up to be full of Dreggy goodness!
You can check out all the upcoming shows on our calendar page but beware! Our calendar seems to be less than interested in listing the correct date in the header so make sure you read the information about the gig so you know when it is really happening.

Dregs holding auditions for a new band member
The Dregs will be holding an option audtion for a new band member on the 13th of February at the Bryant Lake Bowl. Expand this news item for more detailed information.
Dreggnog Delayed
Due to a series of delays in the production process, we have found it necessary to look for someone new to complete the production of our Christmas CD, Dreggnog.
At this time, the completion date for the CD is unclear but we are quite certain it will be at least another few months. Our CD release show, scheduled for March 20th, will still take place and it will be Angelina's farewell performance as a Dreg.
