Economy Kicks Dregs Right in the Twig

Many of our fans have grown accustomed to seeing us perform at the Olde World Renaissance Faire just north of Duluth in Twig, MN. Sadly, the financial state of our union has left the organizers with some budget cutbacks, and The Dregs were among those turned away this year. Sorry, guys... that's the way the wind blows.

I'm also personally bummed because I don't get to enjoy the fruits of my pals at the Lake Superior Brewing Company, the makers of such fine beverages as Sir Duluth's Oatmeal Stout. These folks are the official brew-sellers at the OWRF, and each year they bring along something special... Something you can't buy on the shelves... A rare, one-off experimental brew. It's always a surprise, and it pleases me to no end. I'm getting thirsty just thinking about it! Mmmmm... I suppose I can still purchase my Lake Superior favorites at the store, but it's just not the same as getting it right from the folks who craft it. *sigh*

Keep your fingers crossed for next year, and just maybe we'll be back up at Twig, stirring up trouble. ;)
