In 2001, Tim had too much time on his hands between his day job, his family, running two science fiction and fantasy conventions, a movie review website, an insult comedy act, and a seasoned career at a local Renaissance faire, so naturally he decided to start a band. All he needed were some musicians. What he got instead was a last-pick bottom-of-the-barrel a Capella group, The Dregs. He reluctantly lead the rag-tag fugitive fleet on a lonely quest -- a shining dream, known as harmony. But what started out as a legitimate music act quickly became a laughing-stock among peers. Never knowing when to give up, Tim galvanized this concept and pushed audiences to laugh even harder. Even as The Dregs stumbled over each other, the music poured out of them and fans began lining up. Songs that told tales of the sea, bawdy wenches, alcoholic dreams, and even death soon became crowd favorites. Today, The Dregs are still marching to the beat of a different drum, otherwise known as Tim's bodhran.
